Shadows in the Sun
A young book editor and aspiring writer Jeremy Taylor (Joshua Jackson) is assigned to track down a famous writer Weldon Parish (Harvey Keitel) living in seclusion in Tuscany. Upon arriving in the Italian village and thwarting the citizens' deceptions, Taylor follows the postman to the reclusive writer’s residence only to find that the famous writer of yore is a mad wine-brewer. Brimming with sadness, he decides to return to London only to find that madness is one of the many ruses of Weldon Parish to keep away pesky editors. Taylor goes back and makes his pitch only for Parish to set his dog on him. Later on, Parish pulls down his pants in a crowded bar promising to sign the contract if Taylor kisses his ass...
